Claudia Gray, DVM
Born and raised in Western NY, Dr. Gray is proud to be serving her hometown and beyond. After attending Skidmore College and SUNY Binghamton she earned her DVM in 2000 from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Much of her life has been spent around animals. Dr. Gray began riding and showing Hunter/Jumper horses at the tender age of 5. Through adolescence and adulthood, her passion for horses and competition continued until the untimely death of her Dutch Warm blood stadium jumper Cassis. After recovering from the loss and having her first child with her loving husband Andy, Dr. Gray’s passion for competing with her animals led her to the dog show world. She has become an accomplished breeder/owner/handler at AKC conformation dog shows, and has had a second child as well. Needless to say she is a very busy woman! Her family and children are active in swimming, sailing, dance, lacrosse, and skiing. In her professional life, Dr. Gray is equally passionate about the care she provides for her patients and their owners. She provides excellent lifelong care for her patients in all aspects of veterinary medicine and has developed a special interest in reproductive medicine and neonatal care, and in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. As a past president of the Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society, Dr. Gray remains an active member of the NFVS and Western New York Veterinary Medical Society, as well as the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Society For Theriogenology, American Animal Hospital Association, Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, and Kennel Club of Buffalo. She lives in North Buffalo with her family of human, furry, and scaley companions.
Susan Mineo, DVM MBA
Dr. Mineo was born and raised in Buffalo and has received much of her education in Western NY. After graduating from West Seneca East High School, Dr. Mineo attended Medaille College and graduated in 1997 with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology. Dr. Mineo then worked as a veterinary technician while attending Canisius College and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in 2000. Her career path took her away from home and to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in January 2004 and has been practicing ever since. Dr. Mineo is the past president of the Pet Emergency Fund and is on the board of directors of the Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Buffalo Hook Bill Association, Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, the New York State Veterinary Medical Society, as well as the Western New York Veterinary Medical Society. Dr. Mineo also plays and active role in many community activities. Her primary interest is small animal, surgery and exotic animals. Dr. Mineo and her husband Michael reside in Buffalo with their children . The Mineo family also includes a goofy Boxer named Moose. Dr. Mineo truly loves her profession, her patients, and their families.
Kristi Mt. Pleasant, DVM, cVMA, CCRT
Dr. Mt. Pleasant grew up in Lewiston NY. She graduated from Wheatfield High School. Dr. Mt. Pleasant received her B.S. in Biology from D’Youville College. She attended Ohio State University where she earned her DVM degree in 1997. After graduation, she returned home to begin her career at our hospital (currently known as Broadway Veterinary Clinic). Dr. Mt. Pleasant is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the NYS Veterinary Medical Society, and the Niagara Frontier Veterinary Medical Society. She loves having the ability to offer non-invasive alternative therapy for conditions such as OA, GI issues, allergies and respiratory issues using acupuncture. Dr. Mt. Pleasant has her certification in veterinary medical acupuncture from Colorado State University.
Jill Patti, DVM
Dr. Jill Patti graduated in 1996 from Cornell University, College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been working small animal medicine for 20 years. We are thrilled to have her join us at Alliance Animal Hospital. She currently resides in Elma with her husband John, and 3 children. When Dr. Patti is not busy helping pets, she enjoys skiing with her family, jogging, gardening, or playing with her dog “Chip“ and kitty, Swisher.
Shileyn Rego, DVM
Dr. Rego received her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Cornell University in 2008. She continued at Cornell completing her DVM degree at the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. After graduation, she moved to the Buffalo area and has been practicing locally since. She currently resides in Cheektowaga with her husband, son, dog and three cats. Dr. Rego has a special interest in preventative care and internal medicine.
Amanda Donovan, DVM
Dr. Amanda Donovan was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She did her undergrad at Canisius College and went to Veterinary school at St. George’s university. She graduated in 2007 and has practiced in several hospitals in western New York. She has wanted to be a veterinarian since kindergarten. Dr. Donovan enjoys preserving the human-animal bond through medical care and client education. Her favorite thing is that every day is different and has never dreaded going to work. She has a new interest in reproductive medicine and is a former board member of the Niagara frontier veterinary society and a member of AVMA.
Dr. Donovan is married and has two young boys. She has a labradoodle named Billy, a Great Dane Doberman mix named Steve, a tuxedo cat named Muchacho, and 9 chickens. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, knitting socks and hats, tending to her vegetable garden, and taking her boys on adventures.
